For people attending this Saturday's Northern Voice blogging conference (a conference for beginning as well as experienced bloggers; UBC Robson 8:30a.m.-5:30p.m. Saturday 19 February, $20 before February 17th, $30 at the door upon availability), here are some restaurants for lunch. The criteria for inclusion are: decent food and distance (must be within 10 minute walk of UBC Robson since we only have an hour for lunch).
Sausage(s) of your choice - (I use spicy italian or lamb bought from Choices, but any raw and in casing types will do) White navy beans - (1-1/2 cans, half drained, keep about 1 cup liquid)

Oyama Sausage is definitely one of our favouriteplaces to shop. Must write a story in our Shopping category soon. I thought of Oyama because we just tried their Morrocan Spicy Lamb Sausage and it is definitely a winner: spicy and flavourful. A must try!
I received an email from Meg Sheldon, the publicist (note to other publicists, we would prefer that you put this material on your website so that we can link to it!) for Ch'i Restaurant and Lounge (1796 Nanaimo (at 2nd), 604.215.0078, tuesday-sunday 6pm-11pm ) which opens tomorrow.
