Mini-Review Modern Club

Modern Club (3446 Dunbar Street, 604 739-0170) is the kind of restaurant every neighbourhood should have.  Family-run with delicious and inexpensive food.

The room is cozy and welcoming.  You can sit at tables like regular restaurants or you can sit at the bar and watch the cooking action.

More than two years after our original mini-review of The Clubhouse Restaurant, it still rocks.

We went there yesterday after Caterina Fake's fab Pixel opening and we found the food as inexpensive and delicious as always.

A while back I pointed to a recipe for brownie pudding in the Globe and Mail. Unfortunately, the Globe's recipes are not permanent links! Luckily, I e-mailed the recipe to myself and here it is. Enjoy!
