Via FoodWords, Chocolate is Good for You! Just in time to ease the guilt of eating all those leftover Valentine chocolates and to justify buying Chocolate for Easter. And what's even better is that semi-sweet chocolate, my favourite, is the most nutritious!
Barb and I recently took two cooking classes with Chef Sylvia Molnar at the Cook Shop.
Barb took a Turkish cooking class and I took a Spanish one.
We both recommend Sylvia: she's down to earth, full of knowledge and really loves food especially Turkish! Sylvia does not have a website but you can contact her by phone at 604 224 5444 or by mailing her at 4215 West 13th Avenue, Vancouver, BC Canada V6R 2T7.
We were intrigued because we had no idea what Dragon Beard Candy was. Actually, Barb was a little embarassed because she's Chinese Canadian and therefore should know!
I changed our template so that the local links aka "Table of Contents" are on the left hand side where you can see it. I also added a link to our Referrers so you can see who has been checking out the site. Finally, I added a link to the "Print-Friendly Version" which is handy when you want to print out recipes.
The photo below doesn't do Moderne Burger justice but it gives you an idea of how great it looks and what to expect.
I took a lot more photos of our visit and if you are interested, please check them out.

As the co-founder, Peter Kokinis, explained to me tonight, everything in the restaurant reflects his love of 40s and 50s design and his love of barbequing.
As part of our Valentine's dinner we bought a lemon tart at Boleto (2563 West Broadway, 604 739-1314). It was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!
