We were intrigued because we had no idea what Dragon Beard Candy was. Actually, Barb was a little embarassed because she's Chinese Canadian and therefore should know!

I did a little bit of searching and found out that Dragon Beard Candy is basically crushed nuts wrapped up in thousands of very fine hair-like strings. And I found on the web the article about Dragon Beard Candy in Montreal that Susan mentioned. And that there's actually a shop in Montreal called Dragon Beard Candy! As for availability in Vancouver, it is available at the summer Vancouver night market. I am sure it is available elsewhere because I want to try it before then! I bet it was available at the Chinatown New Year Festivities at the International Village.
