In case you were wondering :-), Green Lettuce continues to serve inexpensive, delicious "Bombay Style" Chinese food such as the chicken hot and sour soup shown above.

[Roland's note: Thanks Ken. You need your own food blog! Don't worry, we will be converting VanEats to a Bryght site (disclosure: I am founder of Bryght!) before Christmas and that means Ken (and whoever else wants one) will get a free VanEats blog complete with photos just like the members of UrbanVancouver which by the way *gratuitous plug* is a Bryght site *end of plug*.

We are moving to East Van (home of many fine restaurants and places to buy ingredients) this week so daily updates won't resume until about Friday. In the meantime, check out our food photos at Flickr. That should keep you busy :-) !

Angela Murrills' review of Jolly's Bistro (2778 West 4th Avenue, 604-730-6929) was spot on as we discovered on our first visit last week to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

People have asked me where Kiwi Pies (makers of yummy chicken and lamb pies amongst others) is located.  They are at 3337 Kingsway but I don't have their phone number! If you do, please leave a comment
