1 cup sugar 1 cup soy sauce 1 cup water 1/4 cup sesame oil 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. black pepper 6 cloves garlic, crushed or minced 4 green onions, finely chopped
Mix together all ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Place in an airtight jar and store in the refrigerator up to 5 days. For longer storage, mix together sugar, soy sauce, water, sesame oil and pepper only. Store in refrigerator indefinitely. Use as much marinade as you need and add remaining ingredients just before marinating.
But if you do, I'd bet that a service that delivered food from good restaurants would be useful.
