Peanut Butter Chocolate Mousse Cake at Trafalgars at Sweet Obsession

Barb and I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate Mousse cake at Trafalgars (2603 West 16th Avenue 604 739-0555)at Sweet Obsession yesterday and we loved it. A nice balance between the chocolate and peanut butter flavours without one dominating the other. Recommended! Worth the money at $7 a slice.

Chocolate & Zucchini

(Via megnut) - Chocolate and Zucchini is a food weblog written by a software engineer in France who wants to work full time in the food business one day.  My favourite section is the Chocolate Is My Friend category but it's all good and it's illustrated with sumptuous photography.

SushiFinder.com

(via Ben Hammersley) - SushiFinder.com is a fun site to help you find sushi restaurants in various cities in the USA like Seattle and San Francisco.  They have an excellent philosophy: "It's not about business plans, ROI's, or free soda in the fridge. Produced in the off-hours and sometimes when the boss isn't hovering, SushiFinder is an oasis from our real jobs.

Bramley Apple Website

(via email from Simon) - I like Bramley apples and this Bramley Apple website is fun.  Did you know Bramleys are the best for cooking and that Bramley Apples are named after Matthew Bramley, a butcher?  Now you do.

All this site needs is an RSS file so I can subscribe to its updates.

HALFAGLASS - A blog and a book about wine

I like HalfAGlass's approach to wine.  It's down to earth and their manifesto rocks! Especially 9 and 10: "Taste with your own tongue", and "Drink".  Looking forward to checking out their book too.

And they have a frequently updated blog which is informative, timely and fun.
