I love almost all the restaurants that Mark talks about in his piece on Vancouver restaurants, Asian Stars Are Bright in Vancouver's Firmament (free subscription required). He and I both love Vij's, Sun Sui Wah (although Barb and I also love Spicy Court which doesn't have the international reputation and fancy decor but has wonderful dim sum at an even more affordable price especially if you order and pay before 11:30), Lumiere and Tojo's as well as Bishop's, and The Raincity Grill. I haven't been to The Pear Tree and Cioppino's Enoteca but they are definitely on our list to try
And I agree that quality-wise and price-wise, Asian food in Vancouver is some of the world's best.
