Vietnamese Iced Coffee - A pictorial essay

Au Petit Cafe - 33rd and Main

Check out my story on Vietnamese iced coffee. It's a good thing Au Petit Cafe (must do a full mini-review soon!) is not close to where I work or live or I would become totally addicted to the wonderful sweet, strong, Vietnamese iced coffee there as well as their excellent subs and Vietnamese food!

Granville Island Farmers' Truck Market also has heirloom tomatoes on Thursdays

Don't forget you can get heirloom tomatoes as well as other locally grown produce from the Granville Island Farmers' Truck Market every Thursday (thanks to Dylan for reminding us).

Tomato Festival at Farmers Market starts September 8 at Nat Bailey

Speaking of real tomatoes, such as the heirloom tomatoes from yesterday's post, the Tomato Festival starts next Wednesday September 8th at the Nat Bailey Farmers' Market and continues Saturday September 11th (8 days from now) at the East Van and West End Farmers' Markets. Check it out.

Heirloom tomatoes with olive oil from the Nat Bailey Farmers' Market

Barb's Pesto Roasted Chicken, Zucchini, Couscous and Heirloom tomatoes with olive oil - Wed01Sep2004

It's prime heirloom tomato season. Get the real tomato flavour experience now! The flavour is so good that you won't want to eat those plastic tomatoes that we get the rest of the year. The above tomatoes came from the wonderful Nat Bailey Farmers' Market.
