Vancouver, food TV, and intellectual dishonesty

Chuq Von Rospach's fun rant, Vancouver, food TV, and intellectual dishonesty has some good advice about eating and touring in Vancouver.

If your time and money are limited and you don't like driving but enjoy walking, then the West End, Gastown, Stanley Park and Chinatown are all reachable by foot and offer tons of excellent dining opportunities such as Kintaro and The Boss to name a few.

And he's right, Granville Island gets all the press but Lonsdale Quay is much easier to get to from the West End where most hotels are and Lonsdale Quay is vastly underrated! Barb and I live in Kitsilano, which is walking distance to Granville Island, so we go there a lot. If we lived in the West End, I'd bet we'd go to "The Quay" more often.
