I love Chinese Hot Pot and I love Grand Honour Hot Pot as I wrote about in my earlier Grand Honour Hot Pot First Visit report and Grand Honour Hot Pot Mini-Review.
Talk about warming winter food!
Anyways we had another fabulous meal at Grand Honour Hot Pot last night and I thought I'd share my photos here so for those who have never been to Chinese Hot Pot will have some idea what I am raving about. Unfortunately, I was so busy eating that I didn't take pictures of everything. Next time!
Here's the burner that the broth is placed on top of:
Here are the sauces (from bottom to top: hot sauce, sesame sauce and soy sauce). What you do is that you make your own sauce from these sauces and mix up your own personal sauce in a bowl together with as much chopped ginger, garlic, and green onions as you wish. And then you dip your cooked food into the sauce.
Don't worry if you don't speak Chinese. Rest assured they have a menu in English:

We ordered two broths: spicy pork belly and regular chicken broth:
Watercress is one of my favourite things to eat at Hot Pot. You simply drop it in the broth and scoop up with your chopsticks and your fondue mini-strainer/basket (no photo of this!):
Mmm. dumplings!
Shrimp. Delicious but hard to eat with chopsticks!
In this photo, you can see Barb, fishing stuff out with her chopsticks and one of the mini strainers/baskets on the right. On the right, you can also see tofu stuffed with fish.
Fish paste!
