We happened to visit Tamarind
We happened to visit Tamarind Bistro. Comments Food terrific. Best Indian Food Ever. Must Try Appys; Mango almond scallops, Mumtaz Salad, Shish Kabab Mains ; Mumbai prawns, Legendry Lamb Affair Desserts ; Chocomosa, Chocolate fondue. Wine menu wasnt that impressive. I stick with martinis. Jose (our friend, we knew him from Maurya across the street) said hes working on the reserve wine list and by our next visit it will be ready. I informed him we are returnig next week with friends so he better be. He recomended martinis Salam Bombay was good so was the chocolate chilli martini. Menu pricing ; was mediocre appys 7 to 9 dollars, mains 9 to 15 dollars. Wonderfull food and outstanding service. Goodluck to the folks. I am excited to have them in the neighbourhood. Tired of Vijs and Maurya. Now we have a alternative for Indian food. Not to forget Kens Akbars own lounge another hide out of ours.
