Tarmarind Bistro is opening Tuesday June 15th, 2004!

According to this comment, the "Tamarind Bistro is opening on the 15th. Daily open for dinner only from 5pm to 11pm."

Congratulations to the folks at Tamarind Bistro on their imminent launch!

I happened to pass by tamarind bistro taday and got achance to peep in and talk to couple of people there. What I learned from the restaurant manager Jose was that thay will be open for business actually from wenesday ie the 16th. Its the Rubina team. So I am excited they are coming to this part of town.

good food and service. But portions were small comparitevely. disappointed on the vegeterian selection. My vegeterian friend wanted us to go elsewere. I thought lampchops should have been trimmed of the fat. It was very chewy. Didnt like the wine selection at all. has to stick with beer.

My 2nd cousin just got a summer job as waitress there and she's starting her first day tonight. As her senior relative, I ought to be getting sustantial meal discounts soon ..... ;-)
