maybe they're not doing well
maybe they're not doing well because it's yet another horribly-produced 'foodie' site. why perpetuate bad work, just to dilute the pool of resources out there?

fair enough. your site is
fair enough. your site is excellent, btw. it would just be nice to see a bit more effort in something that is presented to the publc as a resource for good dining and food in the city. we don't feel 'add your own' have the dedication to quality and consistency that you or your contemporaries have. it seems like it was thrown on-line without much regard for follow-up, consistency and active content. there are a lot of similar sites out there, and 'a.y.o' just doesn't seem to compare. it would just be nice to see a little more effort on their part.

that's true but i bet there are a lot of literate foodies who don't have the time, energy or knowledge to start their own blog or magazine column but could contribute a review or 2 of their fav restaurant and i that's what we are looking for!

i think rather that this kind
i think rather that this kind of 'everyman' site has its place just as blogs like VanEats do and regular food columns in magazines and newspapers
