Todd was one of my dinner
Todd was one of my dinner partners for my first time at The French Laundry 3 years ago. I haven't had nearly the same kinds of problems securing reservations there. It's now closed for renovations until April, while Keller is opening in NYC. But, this fall, I was easily able to find reservations on OpenTable, though I didn't take advantage of them. My tip: In the past, at least, The French Laundry would only reserve a table once per night. This meant that you could pop in around 9:00 or later with no reservation and be seated for a (very) late dinner.

I'll never forget my trip to
I'll never forget my trip to the French Laundry - I still have the clothespin that held our napkins together. The excited swapping of tastes at our table even got us an invitation to the see the kitchen, which was both furiously busy and immaculately clean. *Sigh*
