Tamarind Bistro - opening soon
If my sense of location is correct, Tamarind Bistro is replacing the Picasso cafe on Broadway a bit east of Burrard. And it's opening soon.
If anybody has any further info, please leave a comment. In the meantime, here's a photo:

Well it was reported on the main page today, the team behind the Tamarind reportedly also operates the Rubina family of restaurants - that's the rumoured name that was on the tip of my tounge. Thanks for the investigative journalism, Roland.

Yes Did anybody guessed Indian ? Tamrind Bistro fine indian cusine will be opening on the 15th of June. Its a place where you can have good Indian food at affordable price. Your Maitre-de do have handpicked wines too to make your dining experience outstanding. look out for our Emmys (Appetisers) Grammys(Side's) Oscars (Entree's) and did anyone say Nobel Prize(Desserts) hmmmmm.... Divine food.....Delecious and fingerlicking good.

My mind is completely drawing
My mind is completely drawing a blank, but I remember reading somewhere that Tamarind Grill is being opened by someone with existing restaurants in Vancouver. The name is on the tip of my tongue. Can anyone help?
