First Visit - Infuze Tea House

First, my apologies to the good folks at Infuze for inadvertently calling them Matcha in yesterday's post (I need more sleep!).

The Infuze Tea House (604 688-3170, 870 West Cordova Street) is a stylish, hip place to sip tea, eat some sweet and savoury snacks as accompaniments and buy tea for brewing at home.

Really must try Infuze

Infuze

This is ridiculous! It's been over a year since I blogged about Infuze and I still haven't tried it. I spend a lot of time in downtown and Gastown so there is no excuse. Soon!

Tea.ca - Tea council of Canada

Tea.ca is a bilingual site on tea (what else!) from the Tea Council of Canada. Now if only they had a blog and an RSS file so I could subscribe to updates. (via the Georgia Straight)

Infuze Tea House: another place to try

The Infuze Tea House (604 688-3170, 870 West Cordova Street) looks like an awesome place to sip tea, especially Japanese tea. Looking forward to trying it in the near future!

Caterina's Tea Recommendations

Caterina's tea recommendations are great but I think she overlooked another local tea place, Herbal Republic. I am not a tea drinker (unlike Barb who drinks the stuff like it's going out of style) but I really love the rooibos tea from Herbal Republic.

Rooibos doesn't have caffeine unlike the tea that Caterina recommends but Herbal Republic also has traditional teas with caffeine that I think Caterina would like.

A World of Tea

As follow up to our tea item from yesterday, I found a two week old post from Andrea with a link to the "World of Tea" website published by Stash Tea. It has an tea FAQ, tea recipes and other cool tea-related stuff. thanks Andrea!
