Grilled Asparagus

Fresh asparagus
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt

Choose asparagus that is at least 1 cm in diameter and are similar in diameter.
Trim tough ends and gently rinse. Dry on paper towels.
Drizzle with oil and toss asparagus to lightly coat. Sprinkle with salt.
Meanwhile, heat barbeque. When barbeque is hot, carefully place asparagus onto grill, perpendicular to the grill so the asparagus don't fall through.
Grill for about 2 minutes, then turn asparagus over to grill evenly on all sides.
Grill asparagus until barely tender, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Serve as is or use in recipes that call for cooked asparagus.
