Hi! I recently bought an excellent guide book at Chapters called "Access: California Wine Country" that would be great for you to read through before you head there for your anniversary trip. In particular, the restaurant reviews are great! They rate the following restaurants as four-star ("an extraordinary experience"):

• Brix
• The French Laundry
• John Ash & Co.
• La Toque
• Terra
• Tra Vigne
• Trilogy (Editor's note: it looks like this restaurant has been replaced by Roux)
