Vanilla Creme Brulee at Seasons in the Park

I really must write a mini-review for Seasons in the Park. After all, we were there today and for a first visit and to eat caribou.

Alas, it won't be today. But I will note that the vanilla creme brulee ($7.50) is great: nice vanila flavour underneath a perfectly done crunchy top skin. Mmmm. And one portion is enough for two or three.

Here's a photo.

for a good place to have wild game, try the restaurant which used to be called Cafe Mocha (or was it Mocha Cafe). The restaurant just recently changed names and I can't remember the name, but it's the same owner. They are doing more catering now....but still open for brunch and lunch. Wild game sausages & stews etc. Good brunch. Reasonable prices. It's on the east side of Nanaimo St, just north of Hastings. Has dark green awning and there are concrete stairs to walk up to front door.

thanks Shona! really need to try more of the restaurants in that area
