Higgins in Portland Oregon

Higgins rocks! Fresh, delicious organic regional food. And of course so do Al and Julie! I could write more but I was so engrossed in our conversation that I didn't take any notes mentally or otherwise. It's funny and great how bloggers who never met in real life but who have read each others' blogs can meet and instantly talk for hours like old friends.

Luckily, Al blogged some impressions of our Higgins dinner. Unfortunately, neither Barb and I can remember the accompaniments to our dinners. My excuse is the two expertly paired with my food beers that I enjoyed. Barb has no excuse other than the fact that we have been very busy lately with our trip to Portland (you must go if you have a chance; it's a compact city that works chock-a-block of wonderful restaurants, book stores (Powell's) and lots of other great things to do) and the Vancouver Lindy Exchange.
