VanEats was the first foodblog in Vancouver and probably Western Canada

Just to set the record straight (an article in the Edmonton Journal - link broken due to Canada.com not caring about being an authority on the web - said that lex culinaria is the only food blog in Western Canada), VanEats was the first foodblog in Vancouver (it started in June 2000 unlike lex culinaria which started in 2004) and probably Western Canada. Being first doesn't really matter though. What matters is creating compelling content constantly. So welcome to all and the more the merrier!
