Whither TheVancouverView?

As noted in our comments to our last post about TheVancouverView, the site appears to have disappeared from Blogger's free Blog hosting service, BlogSpot.

I am hoping that they are moving to a more robust blogging system like Blogware or MovableType or TypePad rather than ceasing publication. Blogger is great but you get what you pay for!

If anybody has the scoop, please leave a comment.

we were so constantly hacked that we stopped it. obviously (going by forums, etc.) the media and others don't want to hear anything other than what Big Media have to say. and so it's over. a lot of people obviously have a lot of things to hide. we just wanted our side of the story heard as well.

Yeah, please do what you can to try to get some version of the site back up. It was a much-needed info source. Or at least find some other forum to get your info out.

HI Anonymous: What do you mean by hacked? We can offer you a better blogging service (Blogware) that won't get hacked. It's not free but it is cheap ($8.99 Canadian a month or $89.99 a year if you use the blogware.com domain e.g. thevancouverview.blogware.com or $119.99/year if you want to use your own domain name e.g. www.thevancouverview.com) with a 30 day free trial.
