What else were the dairy farmers of Canada supposed to promote ? ;-) I tend to pay less creedence to "sponsored" sites like this one. But I'm wondering are there any independent websites/blogs that are dedicated to Canadian cheeses ?

Don't know about cheese blogs, but if you don't know already...there is a fabulous cheese shop in Vancouver called Les Amis Du Fromage (formerly called MenuSetters). It's located near Granville Island (right near Patisserie LeBeau - the place with the best chicken sandwiches & rice pudding tarts). yep, we know about them but have been too lazy :-) to blog about them! and LeBeau is fab (and we have blogged about them) i've never tried the chicken sandwiches (just the waffles, mmm! and the baguettes) gotta try the rice pudding tarts too!
