La Petite France adds cooking classes and Sunday brunch

La Petite France, our favourite local bakery, now offers cooking classes and Sunday brunch!

The cooking classes cover baking a cake, decorating a cake, making truffles, pastry, etc. Just call them at 604 734 7844 for course times and details.

They have also started offering a Sunday brunch once a month (either the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of the month). The next one in March featuring Alsatian specialties like baekeoffe (a stew consisting of meat, herbs and wine slow cooked in an earthenware pot in a special oven) sounds absolutely scrumptious.

We haven't taken any of their courses or tried the Sunday brunch yet, but we will definitely report about it here when we do. I am sure that the courses and Brunch will be up to their usual high standard!
