(via scoble) If you like cooking but don't like shopping for ingredients or don't have a kitchen and have money, then dreamdinners may be a good idea for you. For US $200 for 12 entrees (each entree feeds 4-6 adults), you pick what you want to cook, dreamdinners buys the ingredents, you cook at their kitchen and they clean up. Only available in the USA for now, but I bet this will come to Canada soon.
This wouldn't work for Barb and I because we don't like to plan our meals too much, we cook a large variety of foods from many cultures, and like to see what we feel like eating and what's available in the shops before deciding. And we love shopping for food, but I can see how it could appeal to people who have no time to shop and don't mind cooking from somebody else's menu.
