Terminal City Club wins Iron Chef Competition at Eat! Vancouver

In our Eat! Vancouver 2003 report, I wondered if Kevin Lu (of Terminal City Club) won his Iron Chef heat.

Well, Jason Lloyd who was one of the three Terminal City Club chefs in the competition, emailed us to mention that Kevin did win his heat and eventually lost in the semi finals to the the chef of West.

And Jason went on to win against the West chef in the finals.

Congrats to Jason and the entire Terminal City team! As Jason wrote, "... there are lots of good chefs out there in the smaller restaurants and hotels who are not featured in the papers and magazines." Amen!

Now if only we could try out the food at the Terminal City Club. It appears that only the T.C. Lions Pub is open to the public. I will email Jason and find out if the restaurants are open to non members!
