To answer my own question that I posed earlier, of course there is good food in Abbotsford!
This weekend at the Lindy Hop Swing (dance) Summit 2003 in Abbotsford, we ate at two good restaurants that served inexpensive and tasty food:
On Saturday, we ate lunch at the Cosy Cottage Tea Room (33723 Essendene, 604 852 6775) and enjoyed a delicious quiche loraine and broccoli soup lunch special for about 8 bucks and yummy frozen lemon curd for dessert. And of course they had good tea!
For supper that night, we had excellent Pho and Lemon Grass Pork at the the Vi La Palace Vietnamese Restaurant (2616 Cedar Park Place, 604 853-6686). And it went down nicely with some Vietnamese iced coffee. Just the ticket for being alert for our late night Lindy Hop dance that night!
If anybody else has an Abbotsford favourite restaurant, please let us know! Hopefully we'll be back before the next Lindy Hop Swing Dance Summit!
