Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at Karen Barnaby's restaurant, The Fish House in Stanley Park.
I really enjoyed my meal. I had a organic green salad for $6.95 and grilled to Rare 8oz Ahi Tuna Steak "Diane"with classic green peppercorn sauce, buttermilk mashed potatoes for $28.95. The ahi was actually rare and the sauce and the mashed potatoes served as a nice highlight and background.
The best part for me was the dessert: the coconut cream pie ($6.95). It was beautiful and tasty. Creamy, coconutty and with passion fruit puree on the side. Yum!
The room is nice, airy and comfortable. It's the kind of restaurant that seems quiet even when it is crowded. Although tonight the weather wasn't very sunny, I could sense that on a beautiful day, the view of the surroundings would be lovely.
I definitely will be back (eventually) for a full review. In the meantime, please let us know what you think about the restaurant.
