Lisa's Yogurt Scones

1 cup wholewheat flour
1 cup white flour
2 tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold margarine or butter
1 cup fat-free vanilla flavoured yogurt (2/3 cup if you use a food processor)

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in margarine (butter) with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Or use a food processor.
Add yogurt; stir until just moistened. Form into a ball.
Pat dough out on a lightly floured surface to 1 inch thickness. Use a 2 inch cookie cutter to cut out scones, or cut into 4 with a knife and then into triangles.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Serve with jam and devon or jersey cream.
