B.C. Wine and Oyster Festival

One of our members, Sara, emailed us wanting to know about the dates for this year's wine festival.

I am not sure which wine festival she meant, but I did find out about the BC Wine and Oyster Festival through the Heart of Wine Website.

The festival does not appear to have a website (at least I couldn't find it). The link above is to the Heart of Wine website's news item about the festival.

According to the Heart of Wine website, the details are as follows:

  • WHAT: 8th Annual BC Wine and Oyster Festival - 50 BC wineries will be showcasing their wines with oysters from the Blue Water Cafe, Joe Fortes, Monk McQueens, Rodneys Oyster House and more ! Raw Oyster Eating Contest!
  • WHEN: January 30, 2002 4:30p.m. - 7:30p.m.
  • WHERE: Four Seasons Hotel, Vancouver
  • HOW MUCH: $37.99 tickets available from Liberty Wine Merchant stores or by calling 604 739 7801, proceeds to BC Children's Hospital Foundation, Oak Tree Clinic
