We don't have cable so I have never seen Rob Feenie's Food Channel show, New Classics. I really enjoyed watching him live though. He was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to the audience. And the grilled asparagus salad, sauerkraut, roast chicken and other food he made looked delicious, simple and easy to make: the perfect dinner party meal.
Check out my amateur video of Rob Feenie at Eat! Vancouver. It's only three minutes (he was on for at least half an hour), low resolution (320x200) and is quite large (48MB) but it's a great way to get a sense of who he is and what he's about.
Now if only we could get just the Food Channel on cable, we'd probably do it. I'd bet that someday soon shows like this will be available for download legally over the Internet at an affordable price.
