New Guide to Home Preserving

In the midst of harvest season, I'm glad to come across Bernardin's newly revised Guide to Home Preserving. Like the previous edition, the guide gives important safety information and theory. There are recipes for classic and traditional preserves as well as updated, innovative ones like a harissa style sauce I'll be making tomorrow. This new guide also includes sections on freezing, dehydrating food and crafts.
