Roland's favourite restaurants 2001

As Angela Murrills writes in the Sept./Oct. 2001 Expedia Travels magazine, part of our mission is to "clue you in on lesser-known and ethnic spots" or "hole in the walls" as I like to call them!

I realized after reading her article that we have not consolidated this information, so I have gathered up the reviews of all my favourite restaurants of 2001 (which happen to be ethnic "hole in the walls") into a story called Roland's Favourite Restaurants 2001.

The reason I am not including any high priced restuarants is that this year we mostly ate at budget ones because we are saving money for our imminent wedding! Rest assured there are many fine high end expensive restaurants in Vancouver but they are not on this year's list because we simply haven't eaten at too many of them this year. Hopefully, early next year, after the wedding is paid off, we can start going to more high end restaurants again!
