Our Visit to Safari Pies

This evening we were in the City Hall area and decided to pop into City Square to try out Safari Pies. According to David Koop's review, this place sounded great. David was right!

We had two pie specials which included a hot meat pie, either salad or mashed potatoes and gravy, and a beverage. We went for the pepper steak pie, as recommended by David, and the chicken curry pie. Both were delicious! I actually preferred the curry pie. As Roland was hungry (and wai sik), we ordered a third pie, a chicken mushroom one. Also very tasty.

Besides ready to eat pies, Safari Pies sells frozen pies to take home and bake. They're a great price and handy to have around the house for a stay at home treat or if hungry guests drop by.
